Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is an opportunity for people who like to eat fruits and vegetables (that would be you) and people who grow the same (that would be us) to join in partnership so that all can benefit.

What you can expect in your
Harvest Box
With each Harvest Box, we make an effort to provide a balanced assortment
of salad vegetables, cooking vegetables, and fruits, when available.
We emphasize standard vegetables each week (potatoes, carrots, lettuce,
tomatoes, onions, fruit), adding one or two more unusual items (herbs,
arugula, fava beans) to each box. Recipes are provided for less
familiar vegetables.
Your box might include any of the following:
Salad and greens
lettuce, mustards, spinach, chard, arugula, cress, salad mix Fruiting vegetables
Brassicas
Roots

Alliums
sweet onions, red onions, leeks, shallots, garlic Vegetables
Fruits
Herbs and specialties
......plus a few surprises. |
Here are some sample weeks
from last year's Harvest Box.
Salad mix, cucumber, carrots, turnips, lettuce, tomatoes (yes, vine-ripe Corvallis-grown tomatoes in May!), potatoes, sweet onions, rhubarb, strawberries. |
Cherries, tomatoes, salad mix, lettuce, chioga beets, caribe potatoes,
cabbage, carrots, basil, garlic.

The season: Eight Tuesday’s, November 5 through December 17
The cost: $145
The box: Although the weather in November and December can be
unpredictable, here’s what you might expect your weekly box:
Salad greens: salad mix every other week, alternating with lettuce,
sometimes spinach
Roots: carrots and potatoes nearly every week; turnips or sweet
potatoes occasionally
Alliums: onions, leeks, garlic, or shallots every week
Brassicas: broccoli, daikon, kale, collards, or other greens
nearly every week
Fruiting vegetables: sweet peppers, eggplant, winter squash
occasionally
Fruits: apples, persimmons several times each
Newsletter: included in each week’s box with recipes and news
from the farm
Pick-up options: (note the new times for regular members)
1) First Alternative Co-op (Corvallis), Tuesday afternoon between 4:30
and 5:30 pm
2) North Corvallis (3120 NW Norwood), Tuesday afternoon between 4:30
and 6 pm
3) Salem (265 18th St SE), Tuesday afternoon between 3:00 and 6 pm
4) Albany (815 Maple St SW), Tuesday afternoon between 3:00 and 6 pm
5) Portland and Eugene: email or phone us if you’re interested in this
possibility
