Hi. My name is Payton James-Amberg, and I've lived in Corvallis for just over 2 years. I am currently on "extended unpaid sabatical" from working as molecular and cellular biologist in order to stay home with my 2 children and be able to take an active role in their education and our community.

I am currently self-employed, mostly taking on projects for my brother's company, Interpretive Software, Inc. of Charlottesville, VA. I help him write and edit software manuals, and test his computer-based simulations for teaching business principals to college and business students. I am also webmaster for several groups for which I volunteer: Anne Schuster for Schoolboard, Inavale Community Partners, Muddy Creek Charter School or the Grand Oaks Homeowner's Association.
