A highly rewarding community event involving the Jaycees and numerous volunteers to take children from less fortunate families Christmas shopping for their families and after shopping the children participate in a Christmas party where they also receive a present, so the whole family will have Christmas presents on Christmas. This project is funded by donations and by Jaycee projects. |

This years
Kid's Christmas Shopping Tour, this local event is going to be held at Avery Square in Corvallis.
The Children will be dropped off at K-mart to register and be taken around
be volunteers to shop for their Father's, Mother's, And any brother's and
sister's the kids may have.
The Children will then be taken by Laidlaw bus to Avery Square and taught how to wrap and put bows and name tags on the presents. We will have pizza's and snack items as well as drinks for the children and volunteers.
Then Santa Clause will make his appearance and give the children their own gift for Christmas.
All of this is made possible by community volunteers, Jaycees, and donations from local businesses and from the general public.
