MISSION STATEMENT
Northwest Band Camps Inc. gives young musicians the opportunity to meet with many other similarly interested students in a friendly, inspiring, and intensive musical experience, culminating in a valuable exchange of ideas with excellent teachers and performers in a beautiful environment.

There will be social and recreational activities, including swimming, softball, volleyball, basketball, games, parties, fun on the beach, etc.

The camps include group instruction in concert band, jazz band, and small ensembles.  All performance groups will be instructed by experienced junior high school and high school music teachers and directors.

A full-time recreation director and assistant will be employed.  Supervision is by experienced adult counselors in charge of each cabin.

MUSIC
The purpose of Northwest Band Camp Inc. is to stimulate the interest of youngsters in band music and to build their enthusiasm for playing their instruments-so they would continue playing in high school and college.  It has been very successful.  There are experiences in concert band, jazz band and small chamber ensemble music.  The concert and jazz bands are directed by very successful public school directors.  There is also a very active recreation program directed by physical education specialists.

On Thursday evening there is a solo recital night. On Saturday afternoon, the final day, a gala concert is presented for the parents and the public.
