Welcome to the IAOS online library, a growing collection of obsidian-related articles, reports, monographs, papers, theses, and dissertations, all in Adobe Acrobat (PDF) format. The documents may be viewed online with a web browser or can be downloaded and perused or printed with the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. The documents available here are fully searchable from within Adobe Acrobat Reader.
This online library replaces the old IAOS Obsidian Bibliography, a pre-WWW resource that was rendered obsolete by the World Wide Web and that has now been retired. You'll have much better luck these days using the Google search form located below.
Note to authors of documents posted here: I've made the implicit assumption that if a PDF document is posted online without restriction it is publicly available for distribution. If you are the author of a document posted here and would like us to remove it, please contact the webmaster and it will be promptly dealt with.
Note to contributors: For the IAOS library to be a success, we'll need to eventually add as many reference items as possible and your participation will be greatly appreciated. To add a reference to this list, simply send an email to cskinner@obsidianlab.com, write "IAOS LIBRARY" in the subject line of the email, and attach the PDF's that you'd like to add to the library. We'll make sure the item is promptly posted here.
Acknowledgements: My thanks to Nikolaos Laskaris for spurring me to begin assembling this collection and to Rob Tykot for allowing me to raid his collection of PDF articles.
