I've been involved with computers since about 1975, and have been involved with
applications ranging from
lumber mill equipment,
automated testing,
language implementation,
gate array software,
and
Internet applications.
To implement this range of programs, I've used a variety of programming
languages including FORTRAN, assembly language, Pascal, C, and Perl.
Perl has proved to be a versatile language for many applications I've
been involved with over the last few years.
The Internet has allowed me to do a number of small contract projects
for clients regardless of where they are located.
Most of these projects have involved writing
CGI programs
written in
Perl.
Others have involved dealing with
mailing lists.
