Classes by Kathe Todd-Hooker and/or Pat Spark


Kathe Todd-Hooker teaches ongoing  Wednesday tapestry classes and private classes by appointment.  These classes can be from a few hours to several days, depending on the needs and schedules of the students. She also teaches weaving classes.   Call 1-541-917-3251 for more information.  Most classes are held in Fine Fiber Studio, 101 SE Jefferson Street;  Albany, Oregon.

Pat Spark teaches private felting, spinning or weaving classes by appointment.  Students can choose from one of the subjects in the list of seminars and workshops (see her website link below) or we can talk about special interest areas which could be explored.  Private instruction is $200 per day for a 6 hour workshop. With 2-3 students the cost is $125 each per 6 hour day.   For 5-7 students, the cost is $50 each per 6 hour day.  (NOTE: because of space issues, the limit on some workshops is 3 students, while others have a limit of 7.) If a student wishes to meet on a weekly basis for an hour or so, the fee is $35 per hour. Class times are arranged at the convenience of the student and the instructor. A non-refundable 50% deposit is required to hold that date with the balance due one week prior to class. Classes are held in Fine Fiber Studio, 101 SE Jefferson Street;  Albany, Oregon.  All materials and the use of tools are included in the cost of the class.    Call 1-541-926-1095 for more information.

    Coming from I-5 going south: Take exit 234B. Keep to the right, going on to Pacific Blvd.  Stay on Pacific until you see the signs for Historic Downtown.  Follow the signs, taking an exit from the overpass onto Lyon Street.  Go towards the river until you come to 2nd Street. Turn right on 2nd Street.  Drive until you come to Jefferson and take another left.  The studio is at the end of the block on the right hand side.  It is a converted two story garage.
     
    Coming from I-5 going north: Take the US-20/Santiam Hwy. exit 233, toward ALBANY/LEBANON. (Heading west towards the coast.)  Merge onto Pacific.  Stay on Pacific until you see the signs for Historic Downtown. Follow the signs, taking an exit from the overpass onto Lyon Street.     Coming from Lebanon, take Highway 34 to Tangent.  Drive Pacific Avenue into Albany.  Take the underpass at the Railroad Station onto Lyon Street and drive towards the river.  Turn right on 2nd Street.  Drive until you come to Jefferson and take another left.  The studio is at the end of the block on the right hand side.  It is a converted two story garage.
