RESEARCH AREAS (Contemporary Feltmaking, Scandinavian Feltmaking, Central Asian Feltmaking) 1974-Present: Researching technical, historical and cultural aspects of feltmaking.2006. Visit studios of traditional and contemporary felt artists in Kyrgyzstan. 2004. Research the making of Kyrghiz Shirdak felt carpets at the World Festival of Felt, Hungary. 1999: Research Pazaryk Felts in the Hermitage Museum, St. Petersburg, Russia.  Also, 20th C. nomadic felt carpets in the Russian Ethnography Museum. Research traditional tribal feltmaking in Omalo and Tbilisi, Georgian, Republic. 1998: Research hat making techniques in Hatvariations Symposium, Lenzen, Germany. 1991: Research in Hungarian and Dutch museums.  1990: Special research in Sweden and Denmark for 3 weeks at international felt camp and museums.  1988: Special research in Hungary for 5 weeks at international felt camp and museums.
